Comenzamos en Alba (1517) hasta el refugio Contrin (2016) por la ruta 602. A continuación, por la 608 hasta el refugio de passo de S. Nicolo (2340). Después de comer, seguimos por la 613 hasta el collado de la Forcia Negra (2509) de donde bajamos al refugio Ciampac (2152) y tomamos el funivía a Alba.
